Brima Kondovoh Caulker

Brima Kondovoh Caulker is a certified Reliability Engineering expert with a leading oil and gas company in the United States, with extensive experience in asset reliability, maintainability, and risk assessment. He specializes in developing strategies that enhance asset availability and operational efficiency.

He holds a Master of Science in Software Engineering and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems, both earned in the United States, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.

Kondovoh has held key roles across multiple industries, including Operations Supervisor in Honeywell’s Aerospace Division, Electrical Engineer at Sierra Rutile Limited, and Regional Engineer at Africell. He currently serves as Reliability and Maintenance Manager at the Chevron BDRD plant in Albert Lea, Minnesota.

An active member of Auradicals since 2005, he has contributed in several leadership roles. He enjoys reading, writing, and singing gospel music, and is married with four children.

Executive Director, Sierra Leone

Alhassan Kargbo (a.k.a. Alaska)

Alhassan Kargbo has extensive experience in public service, having held several senior roles at the Anti-Corruption Commission of Sierra Leone. He served as Deputy Director of the Public Education and Outreach Department and also as Deputy Director of the Systems and Processes Review Department. His additional roles at the Commission include Legal Officer, Chief of Intelligence, Head of Outreach, Public Relations Officer, and Spokesperson.

He also served as a National Professional Officer for Human Rights with the United Nations Integrated Peacebuilding Office in Sierra Leone. In academia, Kargbo has taught International Relations at both undergraduate and graduate levels at the University of Sierra Leone. He has also worked in the United States.

Kargbo brings extensive expertise in coalition building, rule of law, human rights, strategic communications, and organizational management.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws (Honors) from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone; a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in U.S. Law from George Mason University; and a Master of Arts (cum laude) in Anti-Corruption Studies from the International Anti-Corruption Academy in Austria. He is also a Senior Chevening Scholar at the University of York in the United Kingdom, where he specialized in reforming security and justice sectors in post-conflict contexts. In addition, he studied International Relations and Humanitarian Organizations at the Red Cross Folk College in Sweden.

Kargbo is a graduate of the International Law Enforcement Academy in New Mexico, where he studied Model Law Reform and Executive Policy and Development, and the U.S. Defense Institute of International Legal Studies, where he studied Maritime Security and Law Enforcement.

He is a founding member of Manifesto 99, a Freetown-based human rights organization. While at Fourah Bay College, he was a member of the Human Rights Clinic and contributed to efforts to establish the Court Monitoring Institution, now known as the Center for Accountability and Rule of Law (CARL). Kargbo has published articles in international academic journals and is a member of the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists. He has also worked for both local and international media outlets.

In addition, he has served as an independent contractor in Sierra Leone for the U.S. Department of State.

Executive Director, UK/EU

Dr. Hindolo George-Williams

Dr. Hindolo George Williams is a Chartered Energy Systems Engineer and a member of the Auradicals Club since 2008. He has strong expertise in energy systems resilience, reliability, and techno-economic modelling, bringing deep analytical insight to complex energy challenges. He holds a dual PhD from the University of Liverpool (UK) and National Tsing Hua University (Taiwan) in Risk and Uncertainty Quantification and Nuclear Engineering. His doctoral research focused on developing probabilistic analytical frameworks to model the reliability and availability of complex systems.

His career includes a substantial academic phase, beginning as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Universities of Oxford and Newcastle. He later served as Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader for undergraduate and postgraduate Energy Engineering programs at De Montfort University. In these roles, he led research on sustainable energy system design, complex system reliability, and probabilistic risk assessment of nuclear power plants, contributing to numerous peer-reviewed publications. He also focused on improving energy access and reliability in low-income countries, developing a stakeholder-driven energy framework for Sierra Leone.

Currently, at the National Energy System Operator (NESO), Dr. George-Williams leads the economic assessment of Great Britain’s long-term energy infrastructure investments. His work supports the Net Zero 2050 transition by rigorously evaluating infrastructure options to ensure that only the most economically viable projects that deliver maximum benefit to British energy consumers are advanced.
